What are Cub Scouts?
The Cub Scout adventure is full of fun and exploration. We are all about finding out about new things and new ways of having fun. We learn to become more responsible because we want to do more things like go on longer camps and lead activities.
Ages
Cub Scouts are for children aged 9 to 11 (~3rd to 5th class). This section is all about fun, exploration, and responsibility. Cubs learn new skills, enjoy outdoor adventures, and take on leadership roles within their groups.
Sixes
Cub Scouts are organised into small teams called Sixes, each with about six Cubs. A Sixer leads the group, assisted by a Seconder. These teams come together to form a Pack. Sixers help shape the program through meetings called the Sixer Council, where they discuss ideas and activities.

Where we meet
We typically meet at Blackwater Parish Hall or Blackwater Church Carpark from 7 - 8.30pm on Fridays during school term.
The location will depend on the weather and activities planned for the evening.
Occasionally we may meet at other locations for special events or activities - this will always be communicated in advance via the parents' WhatsApp group.
